Acceptable Use Policy
What EngineForge and the assets it generates may be used for, and what they may not.
Last updated 23 October 2026.
What this policy covers
This policy sets out what you may and may not do with EngineForge, including the sound effects, music, voice lines and images its agents generate. It is part of the Terms, and the words "we", "us" and "you" mean what they mean there. If this policy and the Terms ever disagree, the stricter rule applies.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use EngineForge.

Permitted use
EngineForge is an AI platform for game development. Its agents generate assets for the game project you are working on: sound effects, music, voice lines for your game's characters, and an icon for your game. EngineForge is not a standalone service for producing images, audio or voices, and you may not use it as one or offer its generation to other people as a service.
Prohibited uses
You may not use EngineForge, or anything it generates, to break the law, to infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy, or to help anyone else do either. You may not use it for fraud, for spam or bulk unsolicited messaging, for impersonation, or to generate or distribute malware, harassing or abusive material, hate speech, content that exposes someone's private information without their consent, content that sexualises minors, or content meant to make people believe a fabricated recording, image or statement is real.
You are responsible for the prompts you write and for how you use what EngineForge generates, including making sure you have the rights you need before you publish it. This policy applies to anyone who uses your account.
We report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.

Generated media rules
The following are prohibited for every generated sound, voice line, piece of music and image:
- Deepfakes and face swaps, whether images, video or audio.
- Imitating a real person's voice. Character voices come from a fixed set of synthetic stock voices. EngineForge does not clone voices or accept recordings of a person as input, and you may not use a voice line to pass as a real person.
- Depicting or imitating a real, identifiable person, including their face, likeness or voice, without that person's explicit consent. We may ask you for proof of that consent.
- Sexually explicit content, nudity or pornography.
- Using EngineForge to profile people or to make automated decisions about them, such as in employment, credit, housing or access to services.
- Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism or self-harm, or that threatens or incites violence against real people.
Model provider policies
Generation runs through third-party AI model providers, and every request is subject to their usage policies and to any safety filters they apply. You may not try to get around them, including by writing prompts designed to bypass a model's refusals or its content filters, or by splitting a prohibited request into parts that each look harmless.
Reporting abuse
If you believe something made with EngineForge breaks this policy, write to support@engineforge.ai with the subject "Abuse report". Tell us what you found and where, with enough detail for us to identify it. We review every report and aim to respond within two business days.
If you believe something infringes your intellectual property, the same address works, and the Terms describe how we handle it.

Enforcement
We may refuse a request that we reasonably believe breaks this policy. When we confirm a breach, we suspend the account's access to generation or to EngineForge, and for a serious or repeated breach we may close the account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and the law change. The current version always lives at this address, and the date it last changed is shown at the top of the page. If you keep using EngineForge after a change, the updated policy applies to you.
