Asset Store

The Cockpit Store searches several external asset sources and downloads a selected file to a location you choose.

Find an asset

  1. Open Store in Cockpit.
  2. Search or filter by asset type and source.
  3. Inspect the preview, source badge, license badge, and available metadata.
  4. Open the original source when you need to verify current terms or details.

Download the file

  1. Choose Download on the asset card.
  2. Select the destination and filename in the save dialog.
  3. Wait for EngineForge to report whether the download completed.
  4. If the file belongs in the game project, place it under the intended Game Folder and let Unity or Godot process it.

License responsibility

Store results currently label the supported sources as CC0, but rights remain source- and item-specific. Verify the original source before shipping, especially when attribution, redistribution, commercial use, or modification matters.

Data path

EngineForge resolves asset listings from their external sources. Downloads pass through the EngineForge service with asset and source metadata before the selected file is saved locally.

Limitations

The Store downloads files; it does not guarantee that every archive or format is ready for the active engine. Source availability, metadata, download formats, and terms can change independently.
