Maestro Coordination
Maestro leads every session. It brings in one specialist at a time, checks what each one verified, and offers you a playtest when a change affects how the game plays.
One specialist at a time
Every session opens on Maestro, and Maestro stays in charge of it. It sees its whole crew, including each specialist’s skills, and calls the relevant specialist one at a time. Each specialist works within its role and returns a result with its evidence.
This is not a fixed pipeline. Maestro answers some requests itself and brings in a specialist only when the task needs one.
- Maestro reads the request and picks the specialist who owns the work.
- Maestro sends that specialist a brief that carries the facts it needs.
- The specialist returns its result, what it checked, and what is worth trying in play.
- Maestro uses that result before deciding whether another specialist is needed.
Specialist-owned verification and sanity checks
A specialist owns the verification for the work it performs and returns what it checked, the evidence, and any blockers. That report is visible for review rather than treated as an unexamined success signal.
Maestro performs sanity checks on the returned result and relays every caveat the specialist left open. A contradiction, failed check or blocker keeps the task visible for follow-up instead of being reported as complete.

- Resolve any contradiction before relying on the result.
Playtests you choose
- After a change to how the game plays, Maestro offers a playtest card: try it yourself, send the Playtester, or skip it.
- Ignoring the card means no test. Maestro does not send the Playtester on its own unless you asked for testing or Auto Playtest is on.
- Auto Playtest is off by default and works only while Auto-Approve is on.
- Auto Playtest is an Auto-Approve category. Turn it on there to send the Playtester straight away after every such change.
- Plan mode and your Auto-Approve settings apply to every specialist, not only to Maestro.
Visibility and limitations
Delegation cards show each specialist’s live tool activity, and a specialist’s approval cards show the command and why it asks. You still review the result: a specialist’s report is a starting point for your review, not a guarantee.
